Pergamon is one of the pearls in the chain of Western Anatolia. As a training to improve patient's level of human, Acropolis was found at 335 m high altitude.
On the plain of Bakircay Greek people founded a city and named it after Pergamos (a mythical character in Greek legends). Then people built theaters to show heroic legends as a play in here to teach new generations, and today still we study them in our schools as Prehistorical theater examples.
Also, the city of Pergamon is an example of firsts; first parchment, first Asian library, first hospital complex, first altar house, first illness cures via psychotherapy, first and most well known emblem of medicine, first large-scale feast were held in here.
